Baking soda is an ideal solution against unpleasant smells at home. It also removes residues, sludge

and even pastel drawings.

Cleaning cutlery with some dried food, soak a brush in baking soda and scrub the dirty surfaces.

Dirty and tanned vessels dip in to a mixture made of 1/3 baking soda and 2/3 of water. Leave for a few hours, scrub with a brush and rinse with water. The same may be applied for oven burners.

White bread removes dust from oil paintings. Gently rub a slice of bread on the surface of the canvas. It will remove the dust and dirt.

Ketchup removes dirt from copper and brass appliances. Squeeze some ketchup on a wet towel and clean the appliances. In minutes they will turn its natural / fabric colour.

Rise is very effective for cleaning deep vases and bottles with thin neck. Fill 3/4 of the court with warm water and add a tablespoon of raw rice. Plug the top with a hand and shake strongly, empty and rinse.

Sparkling water will make the coating of the stainless sink shiny again. Wash with a towel soaked in fizzy water and repeat worth a dry towel.

Baby cosmetic oil polish chrome surfaces. Only one drop on a clean cloth will make all taps and handles shiny.

Toothpaste will remove scratches form the CD surfaces. Squeeze a very small drop on a cotton swab and start cleaning the CD in a straight line from the centre to the periphery and the scratches. Rinse with water.

Probably most of you spend long hours at home. Everyone desires for some quick and effective tricks which save time and effort when it comes the time for cleaning. Well, we know a few tricks which will help you to avoid the boring cleaning process. If you want your property to look fresh and tidy, at least twice per two weeks you should take all the available detergents at home and clean every premise and corner in the house. In case you have forgotten to buy some cleaning products or there are some certain spots and stains as rust or mould, don’t panic and feel despair. In your kitchen cupboards you will find everything you need. You just need to know how to use the things you have.

Lemons

Lemons are citrus fruits primarily used as a cosmetic solution. But lemons have much more advantages. Lemon acid successfully removes dirt and rust and when mix with salt it literally reached miracle results in the kitchen.

For cleaning kitchen surfaces, soak half a lemon in baking soda and apply at the dirty area ( this method is not recommended only for marble or stainless steel ). Afterwards wipe with a wet cloth and leave it to dry.

 If you need to remove a food leftovers from a wooden or plastic surface, squeeze a one lemon juice, scrub with a brush and leave for 20 minutes before rinsing with water.

 To reach an irresistible white colours with your washing, just add to the rinsing water half a cup of lemon juice.

 Vinegar

  Vinegar as the lemons is a strong acid and this makes it a champion among the natural home cleaners and solutions. Vinegar removes stubborn dark spots, dried foam and shortly everything you can imagine.It perfectly cleans the inside of the kitchen appliances.

 To unclog coffee maker, pour equal amounts of vinegar and water in the tank and turn to drain. When the solution reaches half of the coffee maker, turn it off and leave it for an hour.

 To disinfect the dishwasher, pour in the rank half a cup with vinegar or just put a small cup with vinegar and turn in work empty.

 All floor surfaces ( except marble and wood ) clean with a quoter cup of vinegar mixed with a bucket of warm water. Cleaning windows will be successful with the mixture of quoter of water, 2 glasses of water and a few drops of cleaning detergent. After applying the solution dry with a newspaper.

Cleaning Mirrors and Windows

You don’t need to spend extra expenses in buying detergents and towels for cleaning mirrors and windows. The only thing you need is a vinegar and used old newspaper. Cheap and effective solution for removing stains from windows and mirrors. Mix some vinegar and water and apply on the newspaper. For a shiny effect wipe with one more list of paper. Once you have your windows clean and shiny, your whole property will change its general outlook.

Washing Dishes

The water will start boiling and all the stick food leftovers will be gone. This is quick and easy.

Cleaning Fridge

If you have a large fridge you probably think that cleaning it is tough and difficult. Prepare two tea spoons of baking soda and cover with some water. Take a towel and soak it in the baking soda, afterwards clean all the shelves in the fridge one by one. If you apply this procedure there will be no smell and you can sort food immediately.

General Cleaning

Lots of women even today use the same old method for cleaning their property – a soapy water. However the soapy water is not that effective especially when we apply it almost everywhere. The general issue here is how to reach clean, tidy and disinfected environment without the need of expensive detergents and extra cost.

 

To clean varnished and polished furniture, boil a pint of beer and mix with a piece of wax. Then gently apply on your furniture pieces and leave it to dry. At the end wipe the surface with a woollen cloth. It is possible also to use an essential oil. Apply a few drops on a piece of cotton and wipe the furniture.

 

Unpolished and dirty furniture might be cleaned only with warm soapy water. Don’t use cleaning products with a glazing effect for unpolished furniture. You will get only oily marks on the matte surface.

 

If you clean soft furniture with a vacuum cleaner it is recommended to wipe the end of the extension with а gauze piece soaked with salt water.
Cleaning Windows and Doors

Doors and window frames may be successfully washed with water and ammonia / 1 litre of water and 1 tea spoon ammonia /.

Cleaning Floors

 

Wooden floors should be generally cleaned more than twice per year. Washing and scrubbing must be always applied in direction to the wood layers. You can use a general detergent. Just apply a thin layer on a dry floor and leave it for a few hours.

 

Rug Cleaning

No more than twice per year you can clean your rug with a soft brush soaked in water and ammonia / 1 litre ammonia and 2 table spoons ammonia. After the cleaning rub the rug with a dry cloth.

Stain Removal:

 

  • Wine, beer, liqueur – you can remove similar stains with a warm water and washing powder. Soak a cloth and rub the stain, afterwards wash then with a mixture of warm water and 1 tea spoon of vinegar.
  • Coffee and tea – you need a cold water mixed with glycerin
  • Red wine and Fruit Juices – you need a cold water with ammonia

    And don’t forget – after the stain is removed rub the carpet with a clothes brush soaked in a washing detergent.

Throw Away the Detergents

Shops are full with different chemistry – lots of detergents which labels promise quick and effective cleaning solution.

We would say that it all looks too good. Magical liquids and detergents clean and wash well, however they may bring serious damages to your skin, lungs and the environment.

When you use a detergent full with chemicals just think twice if you have a pet or a child. When pets are walking on your fresh cleaned tiles they feel un uncomfortable pinch with their legs. Unfortunately their unavailability to talk makes us forget about their feelings and more important about their health.

The most important about the cleaning is not the usage of expensive detergents but having our property clean and tidy on regular bases.

Cleaning the Bathroom

An effective cleaning tip for cleaning a bathroom is to pour in the toilet some boiling vinegar wait for ten minutes, scrub with a brush and apply a good flash at the end.

Limescale on the shower handset

Soak the shower handset is some vinegar and leave for a few minites.

Dusting Furniture

Use a piece of cloth and apply a dew drops of glycerin , allow it to dry and then clean it.

Cleaning Windows

Mix warm water and vinegar in a ratio of 11:1.

Cleaning the Microwave

Squeeze some lemon juice, pour it into a glass and and put it in the microwave to boil. At the end the microwave walls be covered with juice. Use a cloth to clean it easily.
